Top:

• Length: Measure from the middle of one shoulder to the hem edge.
• Bust: Measure under armpits, around shoulder blades, and over the fullest part of the bust. (Make sure to not pull the tape measure too hard.)
• Waist: Measure around the natural waistline.
• Shoulder: Measure straight from one shoulder seam to the other. (Except for the drop shoulder garment.)
• Sleeves: Measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.

Bottom:

• Length: Measure from the top of the waistline to the hem edge.
• Waist: Measure straight from one side to the other.
• Hip (If needed): Measure around its fullest part (about 8 inches. Below waist), keeping the tape horizontal.
• Thigh: Measure around the fullest part of thigh, keeping the measuring tape horizontal.
• Inseam: Measure from the inside leg at the crotch to the hem edge.

Dress:

• Length: Measure from the middle of one shoulder to the hem edge.
